A professional Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion of this workshop. This certificate acknowledges your technical training and education.

• Washington State Licensing Requirement

 

This certificate is NOT a state-issued PMU Practitioner or Artist License.
In accordance with Washington State law, all students must independently apply for and obtain their own license through the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) before performing any PMU procedures on the public.
We strongly encourage students to review state regulations and licensing requirements prior to enrolling.

Licensing & Certification FAQs
Do I need a license to perform PMU services?

Yes. In the state of Washington, you must obtain a valid PMU/Tattoo license through the Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) before performing any procedures on the public.

Does this workshop certificate allow me to work on clients?

No. This workshop provides a Certificate of Completion, which confirms your professional training and education.
However, it is NOT a state-issued license and does not legally authorize you to perform PMU services on the public.

What is the purpose of the Certificate of Completion?
The certificate verifies that you have completed hands-on PMU training. It may be used for:
• Building your professional portfolio
• Applying for state licensing (where applicable)
• Employment or continued education documentation
Licensing approval is determined solely by the state.
Can I enroll if I don’t have a license yet?

Yes. You may enroll in this workshop without a license.
However, you are responsible for obtaining your own license before offering PMU services to clients.

Will you help with the Washington State licensing process?

While this workshop focuses on technical skills and hands-on training, we are happy to guide you in the right direction and provide general information about the WA State licensing process.
All applications and approvals must be completed independently through the DOL.

Can I perform PMU services outside of Washington State?

Licensing requirements vary by state. If you plan to work outside Washington, please check with the appropriate state regulatory agency to ensure compliance with local laws.
